China Mobile Will There Be sure iPhone LTE

China Mobile officials confirmed the rumors related to Apple's desire to make iPhone-based Long Term Evolution (LTE).

Launched by Cellular News, on Monday (03/07/2011), officials of China Mobile, Wang Jianzhou, said that it is not surprising. LTE is the iPhone will run on standard TD-LTE network of China, which certainly will be more interesting.

"Steve Jobs (Apple CEO) has shown interest in the iPhone LTE and plans to start development in the near future," said Jianzhou.

China Mobile currently is currently developing a special version of the LTE platform, namely TD-LTE, so that Apple was also forced to develop special handsets running on the network. Beyond that, China Mobile also hopes other network providers will adopt these technologies in the future.

Although China Mobile is the sole support for TD-LTE, its customer base more than the population in many countries. This automatically allows the operator of China's investment in Apple to make iPhone specific to China.

China Mobile is expected to launch LTE this year. China Mobile also has joined with Verizon and Vodafone to conduct LTE trials. While China Mobile's competitors, namely China Telecom and China Unicom is expected to begin to develop LTE network between 2012 and 2013.
