Google Translate, Present In The iPhone

Google software that turns your iPhone into a translator, since this Wednesday can be found online in the App Store.

"New applications that accept voice input for 15 languages, and web applications like you can translate a word or phrase into one or more of 50 languages," said Google engineer Zhu Wenzhang via a blog posting.

"For sound input, just tap the microphone icon next to the text box and say what you want to translate,"he said.

According Wenzhang, Google Translate for iPhone using a voice impersonator technology similar to the version for desktop computer program that was released last month.

Last January, The Mountain View, major Internet company based in California add language translation capabilities to the Android smart phone operating system with software that enables devices that translate the conversation in real time.
