The Speed of The 3G iPhone AT & T Still Outperform Verizon

AT & T appeared to have faster 3G service for iPhone users in the United States (U.S.) than any other provider, Verizon.

At least according to the speed test between two provider-initiated U.S. iPhone Speedtest.net site. Ookla, company owner Speedtest application collects the test results of 43 thousand iPhone owners who use the providers Verizon and AT & T.

The Daily Mail reported on Sunday (02/20/2011), AT & T iPhone users can enjoy average download speeds and 730kbps for uploads 1.769kbps. Meanwhile, iPhone users enjoy the speed of Verizon's only 848kbps for download and 506kbps for uploads.

Even so, it does not mean AT & T completely superior to Verizon. Because the number of subscribers of AT & T recorded ever complained about the drop calls and the operator's network coverage is not maximized.

Subscribers can use voice packet-text-data Verizon worth USD74, 98 per month for 450 minutes of talk time, 500 SMS and unlimited data.

Meanwhile, for customers of AT & T, with a package of USD64, 98 per month they can get 450 talk time, 1000 SMS and 200 MB of data.
